Safety is at most important for travel, during night time especially. When we initially launched, our focus was solely on ride-sharing. Recognizing the unique challenges faced during night rides, particularly by women, Namma Safety brings forth a comprehensive set of measures to empower users and create a secure environment for everyone on the journey.

We introduced a set of safety-first features that allow riders to share their live ride status with the trusted contacts, communicate easily with their driver, and manage trusted contacts.

Users can tap on the Safety Tools to access the SOS page. When activated, the SOS triggers after 5 seconds, notifying emergency contacts and the support team while simultaneously calling the default trusted contact.

Since the launch of the Safety Center, the number of false or random SOS calls has dropped significantly, showing that users now better understand when and how to use the feature.

women auto-drivers into the platform.
