Safety Solutions for Namma Yatri
Safety is at most important for travel, during night time especially. When we initially launched, our focus was solely on ride-sharing. Recognizing the unique challenges faced during night rides, particularly by women, Namma Safety brings forth a comprehensive set of measures to empower users and create a secure environment for everyone on the journey.
In response to these challenges, I have taken direct responsibility for the new Namma Safety designs. From the early conceptual stages to the official announcement.

What happens on the driver's side when an SOS is initiated?
In emergency situations, it's crucial not to tip off the driver, as their reaction could be unpredictable. To address this, I came up with a solution of subtly informing drivers that Namma Yatri is actively monitoring the situation. Additionally, we have incorporated a discreet audio clip featuring the Police Commissioner sharing brief safety guidelines specifically designed for the drivers.
